Travel Gear: frequently asked questions
- Do I bring the car seat on the plane?
- Yes if the baby has their own seat. It is the safest spot in turbulence and gives you a familiar place for naps. Gate-check a cover if not.
- Travel crib or hotel cot?
- Bring a travel crib for a trip longer than three nights or when hotel-cot quality is unknown. For one or two nights, the hotel cot is usually fine.
