Privacy Policy
Effective May 20, 2026
newborn.mom is an editorial site for new parents. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@newborn.mom.
What we collect
- Your email address, and a name if you give one, when you join the newsletter or use the contact form.
- The message you send us through the contact form.
- Affiliate click data when you click an outbound product link: which link, the time, the page you came from, your country, and your browser type. This is not tied to your name.
- Anonymous, cookieless usage statistics through Plausible Analytics, and only after you accept cookies.
- Standard server logs, including your IP address, kept briefly to keep the site secure and to limit abuse.
How we use it
To send you the newsletter and the resources you asked for, to reply when you contact us, to understand which guides are useful, to keep the site secure, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and local storage
newborn.mom sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We store two small items in your browser: your light or dark theme choice, and your cookie-banner choice. Our analytics, Plausible, is cookieless and runs only after you accept cookies. Choosing Necessary only leaves analytics off.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you follow one, you leave newborn.mom for a retailer that has its own privacy practices. See our affiliate disclosure.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that run the site: Beehiiv (newsletter), Resend (transactional email), Plausible (analytics), Cloudflare (content delivery and security), and our hosting provider. If we add paid digital products, Stripe will process those payments. Each handles data under its own terms.
Your choices
Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. You can email hello@newborn.mom to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. California residents may request the same and will not be treated differently for asking.
Children
newborn.mom is written for parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Retention and security
We keep personal data only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected, or as the law requires, and we protect it with reasonable safeguards. No method of storage is perfectly secure.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, tell newsletter subscribers.
